A BALL OF FLUFF THAT POINTS AT STUFF
Sprout came to live with us in 2025. Weighing in at a whopping three pounds, Sprout, in her (unofficial) capacity as a B.A.R.K. Ranger, seeks to show the world the wonders of our National Parks through her huge heart and her tiny lens.
Charlie is a maniac. We rescued him from the Fresno California Pound in 2022 at around a year old. He didn't get much traction there due to a condition called Juvenile Onset Glaucoma. He had to have his right eye removed shortly after we adopted him, but due to an AMAZING veterinarian, and his indelible tenacity, his other eye has continuously improved and he can actually see pretty well. He is Sprout's best friend and tireless playmate. Charlie is always up for an adventure, which will come in handy with Sprout on the job.
Lucky was the first dog in our family to become a B.A.R.K. Ranger. We adopted him from the Pasadena Humane Society in 2006 and he moved to Yosemite in 2016 at 10 years old. He LOVED the National Parks (Here's a picture of him at Olympic National Park) and explored wherever his nose took him. He was beloved for his spirit. Lucky passed away in 2023 at the ripe old age of 17, but his spirit lives on as the (unofficial) spokesmodel for pets in the park. We feel that living in Yosemite boosted not only his quality of life, but his lifespan as well. RIP Ranger Lucky.
